Our team is responsible for the development and management of profitable growth from new and existing partnerships. Each person on the team is expected to contribute significantly to business results by managing a portion of our innovation agenda. Responsibilities Working with the Partnership Management team, assist in the development of partnership strategic plans through hypothesis development, exploring new growth and revenue opportunities, designing and implementing new test ideas, and providing strategic recommendations to senior management • Conduct research and analysis of business situations, issues and problems • Conduct data query and numerical analysis • Develop computer financial and statistical models • Work with managers and partners to gain business insights • Develop and maintain key business metric dashboards • Serve as a liaison for Marketing and Analysis, Operations and Information Technology • Analyzing the cost per impression, cost per click, cost per quote, and cost per policy economics of marketing through various internet marketing channels such as search engine marketing, contextual marketing, etc. • Suggesting and testing improvements (e.g. copy, graphics) to marketing activities through each internet marketing channel • Researching the industry to suggest new marketing opportunities • Working with the internet marketing agency to manage the implementation and measurement of all marketing activities • Must be able to apply strong analytic skills and business understanding to a wide range of tasks as they arise. Qualifications • Strong Excel, analysis and modeling skills required. Must have demonstrated ability to perform financial and NPV analysis. If an internal candidate, performance rating of “Very Strong” or better will be given preference • Strong problem solving and conceptual thinking capabilities • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and leadership abilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects • Experience with Internet marketing a strong plus (either at Capital One or elsewhere). Experience within a Capital One LOB a plus (e.g. experience at COAF or in a Card line of business • Relationship management experience accessed 10/27/2005
